My approach to oral surgery centers around earning trust and fostering understanding. As the son of two public school teachers, I firmly believe that the key to a stress-free surgical experience for my patients begins with proper education to remove the mystery and fear of the unknown from the equation. My goal during your initial consultation and subsequent treatment is to convey that your procedure will performed as safely and as comfortably as possible.
Born and raised in Maine, I went on complete my bachelors degree in engineering from Johns Hopkins University and then earned my dental degree from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. While in dental school, I was selected as a recipient of the Health Professions Scholarship through the US Air Force. After graduating dental school, I then completed my Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery residency training at Emory University, one of the busiest trauma and tertiary care centers in the country. I am privileged to bring my civilian and military surgical expertise to the people of Hampton Roads.
