We’re located on First Colonial Road in the Hilltop area of Virginia Beach — just minutes from I-264, Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital, and the Oceanfront.
Head south on First Colonial Road past Pleasure House Road. Continue through the Great Neck Road intersection. The office is on your right in the Hilltop area, just south of Laskin Road, near the 7-Eleven at 853 First Colonial Road.
Take Virginia Beach Boulevard east and turn north onto First Colonial Road. Travel approximately 1 mile past the First Colonial / Oceana neighborhood. The office is on your left in the Hilltop corridor, close to Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital.
Take I-264 East toward the Oceanfront. Exit at First Colonial Road and head south. The office is approximately 2 miles south on your right, in the Hilltop area near the intersection with Laskin Road.
Head west on Laskin Road (31st Street) away from the beach. Turn left (south) onto First Colonial Road. The office is a short distance ahead on the left side, in the Hilltop medical corridor.
Free on-site parking is available. The building is wheelchair accessible.

A Virginia Beach native and the founding surgeon of the practice, Dr. Goodove sees patients at both the Virginia Beach and Chesapeake offices. He earned his DDS from Virginia Commonwealth University and completed his residency at Seton Hall University. His philosophy has always been simple: treat every patient like family.

A Temple University graduate and retired U.S. Army Colonel, Dr. Zagursky completed his residency at Madigan Army Medical Center and deployed to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He brings a unique perspective to patient care — combining military precision with genuine warmth. He joined the practice in 2014.

While most of our patients are referred by their general dentist, a referral is not always required. You’re welcome to call us directly at (757) 412-2002 to schedule a consultation. If you do have a referral, please have your dentist send your records ahead of your appointment so we can be fully prepared for your visit.
Your first visit typically includes a clinical examination, any necessary imaging (we have a state-of-the-art cone beam CT scanner in-office), and a detailed conversation about your diagnosis, treatment options, and what to expect. Our surgeons take the time to answer every question — you’ll never feel rushed.
We accept most major PPO dental plans, Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, TRICARE, and VA insurance. We also offer CareCredit and Cherry financing for patients who need flexible payment options. We offer several sedation options depending on your procedure and comfort level, including IV sedation administered by your surgeon. For cases that require additional anesthesia support, we bring in certified registered nurse anesthetists (CRNAs) for an extra layer of safety.
